Dr. Hamming, senior partner of Illinois Bone and Joint Institute Gurnee, was in private practice in Gurnee since 1981 and joined Illinois Bone and Joint Institute Gurnee in 2000. Dr. Hamming grew up in Rock Island, IL. He has a long history in our community, volunteering as Team Physician for Zion-Benton Township High School and Waukegan High School and working with the Boys and Girls Club. He is active in his church and enjoys hiking, traveling and golfing in his free time. Dr. Hamming is married with 3 grown children. His two sons are also orthopaedic surgeons. Dr. Hamming’s oldest son, David, will be joining IBJI-Lake Shore Orthopaedics in August 2011.
